From the graph above we can see the rainfall and max/min temperature in Sydney in 2009. We can see that the trends in the rainfall over the year, that there was more rainfall at the beginning of the year than at the end. There was a drop in the amount of rainfall in July.
The trend line of max and min temperature over 2009 tells us that there was a drop in temperature in the middle of the year, which is when winter occurs. The start and finish of the year was when the temperature was hottest, which is when summer occurs.

From the graph above we can see the rainfall and average temperature in Darwin. We can see that the trends in the rainfall over the year, that there is much rainfall at the start and end of the year, and around June, July and August there is no average rainfall.
The trend line of temperature in Darwin tells us that there was a consistent temperature throughout the year, with a slight drop in the winter. We can see that the average temperature is quite high, because Darwin is close to the equator.
