Blue Tongue Lizard
The Blue Tongue Lizard is a sink. The sink is interesting because one of its defences is that it will drop off its tail and get away from the predator. It is part of the the largest lizard family. All of the species of the genus are found on the mainland Australia. The Lizard can also be found on small islands in Indonesia and parts of Papua New Guinea. The lizard is a omnivore which means that it eats meat as well as vegetation. They are a relatively large lizard and can grow to a length of 45 centimetres. The most recognised feture of the lizard is the blue tongue.
