One endangered specie of flora in NSW is Rupp’s Wattle or Acacia ruppii. Ruff’s Wattle grows upward and straight. It can grow up to 3 meters high and has bright yellow flowers. grows in the Grafton-Coaldale area in the North Coast Botanical Divisions of NSW. The Wattle likes sandy soil and the area has sand stone and in a dry forest environment. It also is found in shrub land. In can also grow in a low altitude. In the areas that it has been recorded it is very rare.
